Project assigned by the Agora College in Roermond.

We designed a buste as a parting gift for director Bert Sterken. The piece will be on display in the college.

After scanning Bert at the studio we programmed a piece of software that “digitalized” the 3D object incrementally from the nose to the chest. A second piece of software removed Faces in a similar incremental way.

What was left was a blurred object that gets more and more focused until it shows an “in focus” face. Symbolizing the digitalization of humanity, something that is very relevant with the Agora way of education.
